Who, what, when, and why?
We are a group of friends with a common interest; we are light show artists & enthusiasts and we have a goal, and that is to go to raves, parties, and other events and perform kick ass light shows and to support all of those who want to give kick ass light shows. We wish to grow and meet new people as one solid and organized unit. Most importantly, we are a group of friends in the pursuit of "fun" because that's what it really is all about, simply having fun!
Launched just this January 2009 in Southern California, we are relatively new as a team but experienced as individual light show artists. We consist of different divisions and a variety of light show skill levels. All of our members are denoted as prospects before becoming official members. This gives opportunity for all official members to get to meet and get to know the prospect on a more personal level before officially welcoming them aboard. Team Vivid will typically hold meetings, recruit parties, and try-outs at various locations and it would be important to show up during these times. After time, you will be asked to visit the Team Vivid Frat House for further requirements.
Becoming a member of Team Vivid will come with exclusive benefits such as discounts, sponsorships, and misc. swag from OrbitLightShow.com (Team Vivid runs OrbitLightShow.com), as well as a membership to our Team Vivid Members Only discussion forum. In most cases, once a member... always a member. We are an extended family.
We are keeping our eyes out for potential prospects, however, when discovered and are given an invitation to try-out, you will go through an interview process which will help determine if you are a right fit for the team. At this time, every prospect must meet every full-fledged member, and every full-fledged member will play a part in determining ones acceptance.
